Pop costume-changer Ariana Grande has had seven Top 10 hits and we're still no closer to figuring out who she wants to be. Is Grande still the retro-minded melodicist of "Bang Bang"? Is she still the house diva pulsing along with Zedd on "Break Free"? Still the hip-hop party rocker sharing space with Iggy Azalea on "Problem"? Still the narcotized night-crawler taking a midnight ride with the Weekend on "Love Me Harder"?
On third album Dangerous Woman, the answer to all of the above is "yes." Most of the deluxe version's 15 tracks fit fairly neatly into one of those categories, highlighting a singles artist who's capable of practically anything (the monster title track mixes Dap-Kings with "Trap Queen"). But as an album artist, she's prone to a schizophrenic sound and unfortunate sequencing: How do you follow a song called "Everyday" with one called "Sometimes"?
Grande is at her most irresistible when she's in Big Chill mode, mixing timeless melodies – mostly in 6/8 – with modern production. "Moonlight" takes Spector-ian string plucks to makeout point; "I Don't Care" is awesome Chicago soul with a vocal solo and a vamping band; and "Leave Me Lonely borrows a naturally vintage guest appearance from Macy Gray that sounds like Nineties R&B gone Bond soundtrack. If you combined these songs with similarly retro material from her debut record ("Honeymoon Avenue," "Tattooed Heart") you could probably make a good case for Grande as a rock-friendly voice that could be critically adored like Adele or Amy Winehouse.
But Grande came up as a Nickelodeon star, so her sights are probably much, much wider than "critical darling." That means we get a flat, monochromatic, tropical house swagger-jack ("Be Alright"), an uptown-funky piece of nonsense ("Greedy"), and something where Future sings a chorus that is one word ("Everyday"). Her talents are wasted on meaningful-sounding but ultimately trite lyrics like "How do I feel you on me/When you're not on my skin" and "We're collecting moments/Tattoos on my mind." However, her phrasing remains unique and powerful and pyrotechnic, going at unexpected angles – check out how the word "boy" in "Side to Side" explodes in six notes. Grande may not have settled on a sound, but she's still an outsized, dangerous talent.

Even Cher can't turn back time: The legendary diva turns 70 today.

One of the top-selling female recording artists in history, Cher's the only artist ever to score a No. 1 single on a Billboard chart in the sixties, seventies, eighties, nineties, 2000s and 2010s. That six-decade career means she has multiple generations of fans -- though she claims she doesn't understand why.

"What I see more than anything else is when I’m on tour, I see people carrying children on their shoulders," Cher told ABC News a few years ago. "And then, when we were in Vancouver Island, a woman on TV ... it was her 90th birthday and she [said] she wanted to spend it at my concert. And I just thought, 'You know, you go girl!'"

Many of Cher's most loyal fans over the years have been from the LGBT community.

"I think it must have been at the beginning of 'The Sonny and Cher Show,'" she said. "I mean that’s when I really became more aware of it. And I think it started out as a kind of a clothes thing, but after the clothes thing ... my attitude was so 'gay icon-y,' you know. And then when Sonny and I broke up, for some reason the levels just rose. Maybe because I got to be more myself."

Whatever the reason, Cher's grateful for the support.
"They are so loyal. I just thank God for them during all these years of having, you know, ups and downs," she added. "[W]e just have a love affair that I don’t think is ever gonna stop."

Cher's most recent album, 2013's "Closer to the Truth," was the highest-charting solo album of her career in the U.S. A talented actress as well as a powerhouse vocalist, she has an Oscar, a Grammy, an Emmy, and three Golden Globe Awards on her trophy shelf.

In addition, Cher's tours are always sellouts -- her "Living Proof: Farewell Tour" was, for a time, the highest-grossing tour ever by a solo artist, before Madonna beat her record. Sadly, she was forced to cut short her "Dressed to Kill" tour in 2014 due to health problems, but it was still a smash, money-wise.

In her 70 years, Cher has proved to be the consummate entertainer, conquering the worlds of music, movies and TV, and both causing and surviving controversy. A noted philanthropist and social activist, she's also been a strong advocate for many causes, including animal rights, veterans and wounded soldiers, HIV/AIDS Prevention and -- as the mother of a transgender son, Chaz -- LGBT rights.
Earlier this year, Cher also helped donate over 180,000 bottles of water to Flint, Michigan, after its municipal water supply as found to be contaminated with lead.

The celebrity asked the Supreme Court to consider the case after losing a fight in the Court of Appeal

A celebrity who wants to keep his name out of a tabloid newspaper story about alleged extra-marital activities is waiting to hear whether he has won a Supreme Court fight.

Five Supreme Court justices are scheduled to deliver a ruling on Thursday after analysing the latest around of the man's dispute with journalists at The Sun on Sunday at a hearing in London in April.

The man - identified at court hearings only as PJS - asked the Supreme Court to consider the case after losing a fight in the Court of Appeal.

Three Court of Appeal judges ruled in April that an injunction barring The Sun on Sunday from naming the man should be lifted.

Sun on Sunday editors want to publish an account of the man's alleged extra-marital activities.

But the man had argued that he had a privacy right and took legal action.

The newspaper won the first round of the fight in January when a High Court judge refused to impose an injunction barring publication.

But the man appealed - and two appeal court judges ruled in his favor

Holly Madison's Las Vegas pad is just as amazing as you'd expect.

The reality star gave E! News a peek inside of her lavish and luxurious Sin City home, which she shares with hubby Pasquale Rotella and daughter Rainbow Aurora (and their little one on the way!), and if you know anything about Holly, you won't be surprised to see that some rooms got their interior decor inspiration from a popular Disney flick.

Appearing outside of her massive double doors (seriously, she looked so tiny next to those things), Madison began our exclusive tour inside her chic home.

"I think what really stood out about this house is it just looks so different than anything in Las Vegas. The yard is so big and the house kind of has an old school look, and it's not the same cookie-cutter thing you see all the time out here," she tells us.

She continued to show us a few of her favorite rooms, including the kitchen.

"This is one of my favorite rooms in the house, it's the kitchen. I always wanted a white and red 1940s style kitchen," she says. "Here's my refrigerator. I try to keep it pretty healthy at home. A lot of juices, and greens, green juice…even though being pregnant, green juice is so nauseating."

LOL, hey, at least she's honest.

Madison then led us to a room that seemed right out of your favorite fairy tale. "The main room here—it's kind of like my Beauty and the Beast library. I always wanted floor-to-ceiling book shelves, and we added these little hideaway nooks that we copied from the Adventureland suite in the Disneyland hotel."

Her home also included an indoor pool, which she explains is "handy" for Rainbow during the winter, an outdoor pool and a farm! "I love it back here. I love to spend a lot of time writing or just hanging out."

AN insider says the reality TV star is definitely expecting but claims she is "heartbroken" as Jeremy doesn't believe she is pregnant and won't take her calls.

The reality TV star has been at the centre of another media storm after she hinted she was pregnant with Jeremy McConnell's baby this weekend, and now an insider has said she's definitely expecting.
"She was shocked when she discovered she was pregnant, they hadn't been trying but they hadn't exactly been careful," the source told Mirror Celeb.
"Stephanie was desperate to see Jeremy and break the news face to face. He point blank refused - in fact - he doesn't believe that she is pregnant and it's breaking her heart."
They added: "She is determined to raise the child alone. Hopefully this will sort her head out - she has just been left to cope with this all by herself. Jeremy won't take her calls."
Stephanie split with Jeremy earlier this month after allegations of cheating.
Earlier today, Steph appeared to hint at baby names, taking to Twitter to write "Iva Blue," alongside a blue heart emoji, which some fans have suggested is a reference to baby names.
In response to the now-deleted tweet, one said: "Isn't it a bit early 4 discussing baby names etc? If u r pregnant, u dnt wanna jinx things. I hope u focus on urself now."

Meanwhile, Jeremy broke his silence. The Irish model remained tight-lipped after Steph, 23, penned a swiftly deleted message in which she appeared to confirm she’s expecting his baby. But taking to Twitter late on Monday night, Jeremy wrote: “The loudest in the room is the weakest.” His tweet didn’t include anyone’s handle but it was quite clear who he was aiming it at, and it soon came under fire from Steph's fans. "But your love for your child will be the anchor that will see you through it all..." We have contacted reps for Stephanie for comment. Reps for Jeremy declined to.

Minnie Driver's 74-year-old neighbour claims the actress has made his life a "living hell".

Just over one week after police were called to Minnie's home after she allegedly "went ballistic" on Daniel Perelmutter when a delivery driver taking something to his house mistakenly parked in front of her Hollywood Hills home, he has spoken out about his feud with Minnie, 46. Mr Perelmutter told DailyMail.com: "She screams filthy abuse at me....She rants and raves like a crazy person...She gives me the finger every time she passes me...England sent us some of their best people but this one they should have kept. "She has made my life a living hell - she is constantly harassing me. I've had a heart transplant, 14 back surgeries and a knee replacement, and Minnie Driver isn't helping my health." He has also accused Minnie of throwing black paint bombs against the wall of a house he is constructing next door to his own. And Mr Perelmutter claims he gave 'About A Boy' star Minnie permission to erect a gate on the driveway she shares with his new home in order to give her more privacy from paparazzi but she changed the code and he has not been able to use it. He and his wife Mary Lou are now seeking a restraining order against Minnie over her "unjustified and abhorrent conduct" which has led to "sleeplessness, severe anxiety and depression, along with severe emotional distress".
However, another neighbour has defended Minnie and placed the blame solely on Mr Perelmutter. Ed Dwyer said: "Minnie Driver has never been less than polite, helpful and friendly toward me. She's a wonderful person - not like [Perelmutter]. "He's obnoxious - he's been harassing and causing trouble for people around here for years. He's causing trouble for Minnie Driver because she's a woman. He's a woman hater."
Last November, Minnie - who has seven-year-old son Henry with former boyfriend Timothy J. Lea and is dating father-of-two Neville Wakefield - obtained a restraining order against Perelmutter, after she alleged he had told her to "f**k off and die" on several occasions, and he has been ordered to stay 15 years away from her at all times. Her lawyer said: "Daniel Perelmutter has been the bane of his neighbours for years. "Mr. Perelmutter's recent misconduct affect not only Ms. Driver, but the other homeowners who share the driveway with Mr. Perelmutter. "These neighbours fully support Ms. Driver and are working with her to stop Mr. Perelmutter from his ongoing violations of the 2006 Court order and restore their access to their homes."
