She was also spotted having dinner with Formula 1 driver Lewis Hamilton and has recently been linked to Miami Heat star Jimmy Butler. Shakira attended one of the Heat's games, fueling the speculation even more.

Media outlets, including Page Six, have reported that Tom Cruise expressed a strong interest in meeting Shakira.

However, Heat magazine claim that the singer has been "begging" him to stop flirting with her.

The source clarified that Shakira is not attracted to him and has no romantic interest, despite feeling flattered. She was simply being friendly and conveyed her message to Cruise in a polite manner.

According to US Weekly, the singer found the rumors amusing and has no intention of pursuing anything further with Cruise, although they had a "fun" time when they met at the Formula 1 event.

Family friends of Shakira, such as Ana Lourdes Martinez and Emilio Estefan, spoke to Page Six, emphasizing that the interactions between Shakira and Cruise were friendly and not indicative of a romantic relationship.

"Miami has always been Shakira's home and refuge," confirmed Martinez.

"Even though she was living in Spain most of the time, Miami has always been a place that she loved.

"When friends are in Miami, they get together. The press wants to create a romance, but she's known Tom for a long time. She's focused on her family."
