Calvin Harris is recovering after being injured in a car crash in Los Angeles Friday, which has prompted him to cancel an upcoming gig in Las Vegas.

A police spokesperson told E! News a teenage female driver driving several people in a Volkswagen Bug on a narrow canyon road crossed over the center divider and crashed into an SUV carrying the 32-year-old Scottish DJ. Harris suffered a cut to the nose and was transported to a local hospital and released, the spokesperson said. The female driver was ejected, as she was not wearing her seat belt, and was treated for a broken pelvis. It is unclear if anyone else was injured in the crash.

A message about the accident was posted early Saturday on Harris' Facebook page. The DJ himself and his girlfriend, singer Taylor Swift , have not commented.

"Adam's transport was involved in a collision this evening on the way to the airport," the post read. "As a result he will be unable to perform at Omnia tonight. He has been examined by doctors and told to rest for a few days. - Calvin HQ."

Harris was set to perform Saturday night at the OMNIA Nightclub at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, where he has performed many times. He still has shows scheduled to take place at the club on May 27 and June 3.

Many concerned fans wrote supportive messages for Harris.

"Wishing you a SWIFT recovery," one person said.
